I recently joined Shropshire Quilters http://www.shropshirequilters.org/ and am really enjoying their monthly talks, The work some of the members do is really inspirational. If you are keen on learning how to quilt I would strongly recommend joining a local group. they often run workshop which helps to learn new techniques.

Hexagons - venturing into patchwork quilting

I am working on a hand sewn quilt - English paper piecing hexagons. I learned how to do this from a tutorial on You Tube - I've been working on it since the summer but am making steady progress. Find the tutorial here -
